Making Your Blog Sticky and Getting Return Traffic

Creating a sticky blog isn't really as difficult as people make it out to be, and most of the bloggers out there are afraid to experiment. Who knows why people are not interested to do the work, and maybe it is the diligent work that scares them. One thing you can easily do is offer more bang than anyone would think they would receive, and that has been said a lot but only because it is effective. Take the time to thoroughly learn and digest the following guidelines, and your blog will become more sticky.

A lot of times a person will feel better for having expressed something on a blog comment form. Engage your audience, and you want to do that anyway; so talk to them through the give and take process in the comments. What you are also doing is making their blogging experience interactive, and that is a potent thing to have. You have to begin somewhere, so do not get discouraged if you are reply to only one comment.

You can also include your own personality in a more direct way if you want to do that, but you really need to know what you are doing. So if you do that, then in time of course your market will know who you are which is a good thing. There is too much mistrust on the net these days, and it is in your interest to try to remove as much as possible on your blog. As you increase your rapport with your audience, then that will go a long way to making your blog sticky.

Website design which includes blogs is critical if you want people to like it enough to be willing to stay. People that go through your blog aren't just reading content, they're having an experience. Don't give them an eye sore with your blog's design, and you want to keep it simple and minimal; have everything to the point. If you want your blog to be sticky, then just make it so people are not offended by the design. Your site design needs to pass the first muster which occurs immediately after landing on your homepage.

Remember that you may have to test out things in your pursuit of the sticky blog, but that is really not unusual. Take your time and be sure you learn solid information and methods or else you can end up wasting time. How sticky your blog becomes will also be a function of the articles you publish on it, so do not give people old and tired information. So take action as soon as you are organized and ready to make this all come about. As you monitor your traffic stats, you will begin to see changes with the time spent on your blog.
