Very basically, article marketing is a method of submitting your articles to directories and other websites so you can generate traffic and get backlinks. Take care that you don't submit too many articles every day, maybe two or so. Naturally, people want to submit as fast as possible. This practice will only serve to work against your goals. This practice will result in your articles falling down the list and fewer people will see them, and that will be all your articles. Not to mention that practically all directories will let you submit a certain number of articles each day.


If you submit only a few each day, then you'll establish yourself as a credible source of information. People will think that you're constantly researching your subject, and that will help build trust. Constant submission will be seen as more authority rather than just a one-shot deal with a ton of articles submitted on the same day. Most of the time you can know if a new approach is a good idea, but sometimes you never know until you test it. People will never even finish reading, let alone click-through, if your articles look like they were poorly written. It will only create a negative impression, and no one will do business with you. If you have the means, you can outsource someone to edit and check for you.
